Liquid Gold, from the Whispers in the Shadows series, moves through the unstable territory between concealment and exposure. The work suggests a figure, or perhaps a self, in the process of shedding constructed surfaces: masks, expectations, inherited narratives, and the quiet pressure to perform or please.

Echoing the imagery of kintsugi, the fracture is not treated as damage to be erased, but as a site of alteration, memory, and becoming. What appears hidden, wounded, or unfinished becomes the very place where transformation begins.
